This is a better approach to make rotation mechanism for a telescope (previous attempt is at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4220250) Original tripod mount and a "bearing" was just an imitation... This time I tried to fix that making completely new tripod mount, supported by 608-zz bearings and 8mm threaded shaft. IMHO fitting & rotating effect is perfect :) After printing remember to drill 8mm hole in metal "hinge" - all is visible on the photos You will need: 1. 3d print 2. 608-zz bearings x 2 3. 8mm threaded shaft 4. few washers and 8mm hex nuts
