I was fed up with the standard deviation of my mechanical switch-based end-stop, unsure if it was just my setup but the physical pressure moved the switch a bit which made calibrating my first layer nearly impossible. So I took matters into my own hands and designed this part which utilizes an optical sensor and boasts an impressive 0.000750 standard deviation over 1000 attempts. A breeze to print, no supports or any other obstacles were necessary. To secure the module in place, you will need two small M3 (6-8mm) screws and one M4 screw to replace the existing endstop trigger with the "stick". To see how this is mounted on my Ender-5, check out the video I posted online.
