This device makes it simple to adjust z offset settings. The spring has a diameter of 3mm and its length is not crucial; you can purchase a long spring and trim it down to the right size for your 3D printer. The screw also measures 4mm in radius. You can acquire an optical endstop sensor from AliExpress.com. Optical endstops are compatible with most 3D printer boards. Note that the black item visible in the images is a standard female pin header. Drill the pin header to link the spring to it. Important note: if you want to print this part using ABS, it's advisable to scale it up slightly. I designed this with SolidWorks.
