Optical sensor base
thingiverse
Three endstops are essential for any 3D printer. Optical sensors can often be salvaged from discarded printers. Wiring has been detailed in https://capolight.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/making-endstops-from-printer-photo-interrupters/, and other resources cover this process as well. I required a base that could accommodate the standard 4-legged optical sensor on my Prusa variant, utilizing the classic clamp on the 8mm rods to secure it in place.
