Optical Sensor
myminifactory
I created this project to solve the problem of ineffective, inaccurate, and costly probes on the market today. My design utilizes a LM393 Dual Differential Comparator IC and can output in both digital and analog formats. This type of sensor is capable of detecting distance with high speed and accuracy on any surface, unaffected by electrical current, print bed temperature, ambient temperature, dust, or humidity. I designed this project to function as a Z stop probe, but with a simple modification and the addition of a spring, it can also be used as an endstop. Here is a list of parts required for this project: 1. Optical Sensor 2. Step down Buck converter 3. 2 M3 x 12mm screws 4. 1 M3 x 15mm screw 5. Small washer 6. #14 gauge body piercing (one end drilled and sanded to form a cylinder) 7. Jumper Cable 8. Pin Header Connectors 9. Wires In addition, you will need: A soldering iron A pair of wire strippers A set of Allen hex keys And a crimper for the header connectors
With this file you will be able to print Optical Sensor with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Optical Sensor.
