Raporfx modification allows for effortless mounting on custom Hypercube or Hypercube Evolution frames crafted from 2525 aluminum. To enhance usability, I reengineered the part to position the optical sensor more superficially, resolving issues where it inadvertently triggered prints despite remaining filament. Initially, connecting the sensor directly to my Raspberry Pi via GPIO pin, 3.3V, and ground connections proved necessary. I integrated the Filament Sensor Reloaded plugin seamlessly into OctoPrint for a smooth printing experience.
