Optical Illusion Pinwheel with tail
thingiverse
The bladeA and bladeB are from the original design by Dalpek. But its handle doesn't work well because of sever plastic/ plastic friction. Also there is no tail. The cooasty's remix /collections are very nice, including a wind mill frame and a tail. But I don't want to spend another 10 hours to reprint blades. So I designed some miscs like spacer, locknut etc. After I reinstalled blades on to a 4mm metal rod together with wind mill frame and tail, blades become very sensitive to wind likely smaller friction between smooth steel rod/plastic adaptor , now pinwheel can automatically adjust its direction by tail! Basically I printed everything using PETG with a 100% infill, resolution of 0.2mm and speed of 50 mm/s
