prusaprinters
The idea is based on this design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3063430 This how ever is a ground up redesign made to fit the 2040 or 4040 extrusion used in many printers like the ender series. Hardware:1x M3x25mm bolt,2x M3x12mm bolts,2x M3, 1 for mounting sensor and the other for the pivot bolt3x M4 mounting bolts (length varies on actual mounting method, I used 8mm to hammer nuts in the extrusion)3x M4 mounting nuts, select the ones appropriate for your case~25mm of PTFE tubing1x spring ~18mm long, mine is an old bed leveling spring, find one that is not too stiff Design Details: Mounting hole spacing is 20mmx40mm Has built in hard stops to correctly locate holes for filament loading and protect sensorOmni-directional filament feeding Assembly instruction:Clean up parts if necessary and confirm the fit of all parts, some light sanding and/or drilling may be required depending on how dimensionally accurate you slicing profile is.Insert and cut PTFE tubing in the 4mm holes on the lever and the main body.Mount the sensor, there should be just enough space to fit it through the gap under the filament path.Temporarily place the lever into place and insert the bolt to test fit of filament, and determine any sanding necessary.Remove the lever.Mount the body to its final destination.Place the lever into place with the spring in the guides and insert the through bolt to secure it in place.Makes sure that everything moves well and with ease. All done. Printing instructions:Rafts: noneSupports: noneMaterial: whatever you wantLayer height: mine is 0.2mm, this should be the max size but smaller should work
