Optical Filament Runout Sensor that works, thoroughly tested, including for Bowden setup. It won't function on transparent filaments. Purchase the Optical Endstop shown in the photo. Remove the black cover and insert the Optical Endstop into the printed part. If it doesn't work, remove it and use a soldering iron to heat up one of the sensors' pins, lowering them a few millimeters. This will result in one sensor being slightly lower than the other. Cut off the excess pins to tidy up the optical endstop board.
