This adapter is specifically designed for optical drives that measure 10 mm in thickness. To secure the adapter to your computer case, you'll need four M3 heat inserts (available at McMaster-Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/94180a331 and itworks3d.com/product/metric-brass-heat-set-insert-plastics/). My drive featured multiple M2 screw holes that I incorporated into the design of the adapter. Be sure to examine the side images of your optical drive to determine if its screw holes align with those on the adapter.
