Counting the Pulses from a Rotating Motor To accomplish this task, a device is required to track the pulses emitted by a rotating motor. The motor in question features 120 slots evenly spaced around its circumference. At present, no physical prototype exists to test and refine the concept. A 3D printer will eventually be used to print the device, but it remains unclear whether the initial design will require significant modifications or not.
