Opteka 650-1300mm Zoom Adjuster

Update 7/5/2019: since the tripod mount screw going into the mount on the Opteka may go into the back bracket for the housing, I made a mark where the hole would be and drilled a 3/8" hole to accommodate. Changed the screw size going into the housing base to housing base bottom bracket to 1/2" since a full inch is overkill. Created a zoom adjuster for a Opteka 650-1300mm Telephoto lens. This helps prevent movement of the lens off the object (for me, deep space objects that even 1 degree of movement can cause my target to be lost). I used bolts and nuts I had available, so that is why the bottom bracket for the rail have square indents for squared nuts, while the bottom bracket for the focuser for the worm housing base is hex. I provided IPT files for those who need to modify the indents for the nuts to their liking. Specifics: Worm Housing Bracket goes in between the two black rings, with the circular cutout side facing the tightening wheel. Broke down the housing for the worm gear into two parts to allow for the worm gear to be put in. You can either glue on the housing bottoms to the top, or just run the m3 screws through the top housing and through the bottom and allow for compression to hold them together. Can print the worm either fully intact or in two pieces, your preference. Will need to take the tripod connector off the lens in order to put the housing bottom bracket on. Two screws are used to hold the rail to the rail base, and glue if you feel you need more of a connection. Parts you will need to purchase... 4 threaded insert nuts M3 x 6-10mm x 5mm 4 m3x30mm bolts 4 1" x 5/32" bolts (4 square 3/8" nuts) 2 1/2" x 5/32" bolts (2 11/32" hex nuts) 2 1" screws
