Ops Core Helmet Tactical Light Mount

I merged two designs, combining elements from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1508831 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:734608, to create a more effective flashlight mount, one that I believe surpasses the original concepts in several ways. The design draws inspiration from both ideas, acknowledging their strengths while addressing certain weaknesses. The flashlight used for this project is identical to the one featured in the picatinny rail design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1508831). By incorporating the Arc Rail mount from the Ops Core helmet design and the flashlight section of the picatinny design, I achieved a seamless integration that perfectly suits my needs. As an airsoft enthusiast, I've had the opportunity to test this mod on both my airsoft marker and the original design. The result is a reliable and secure system that I trust implicitly. To ensure a snug fit, I elongated the design by 5mm, which not only filled the gap in the flashlight but also eliminated any play that might cause it to shift. The finished product fits perfectly, and after one successful build, I can confidently attest to its functionality. For those who require detailed specifications: - Inner diameter: 20mm - Total width: 31mm I printed the design using standard ABS settings. To secure the flashlight in place, you'll need 2-4 M3 nuts and bolts, though I opted for just two, as four seemed excessive.
