Cutting a 1.27 centimeter thick plate to precise dimensions of one inch by point four inches is crucial. To initiate the process, use a #7 drill bit and carefully drill a quarter-twenty hole at the center of this new piece. Upon completion, position this hole into the pre-existing cutout on the interface, then secure it in place using a 1/4-20 threaded connection to tap within the plastic casing of the PVS-14 J-ARM system's OPMOD Gen1 NV adapter.
