Opinel N8 case and belt harness (TPU)
thingiverse
I made this to keep the "pocket grit" out of my size 8 Opinel. Use flexible filament only, as it's specifically designed for printing flexible parts like this case. A good starting point is 20-25% infill, but feel free to experiment with different percentages to find what works best for you. When working with flexible filament, it's essential to print the first layers very slowly to achieve the best results. This will help ensure that the material flows smoothly and evenly, reducing the likelihood of defects or warping. Update 10/20/17 12:46p: I've recently added a belt holder to the case design. While I haven't had a chance to test print it yet, I'm eager to hear your feedback if you decide to give it a try. Keep in mind that the belt holder must also be printed using TPU or similar flexible filament. Update 10/30/17: A few users were experiencing difficulties loading the original belt holder, so I've revised the design with V1b, which should work better for everyone. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
