Inv.-Nr.: AMUL 2925 Material: Bronze Datierung: Ptolemaic-Roman (305 BC - 395 AD) Herkunft: Egypt (exact location unknown) This small rectangular offering table features a central figure in the middle, a priest who is the donor. To his sides are placed monkeys with sun disks on their heads. This could refer to the god Thoth. On the middle of the side edges are two falcons, and at the front are two dogs or jackals. On the spout of the offering table sits a relatively large frog. Created in a seminar for the new special exhibition "Confronted. Occupied. Enriched.
