The minimal Mendel X carriage boasts a large central opening, replacing standard Sells Mendel carriages easily. Suitable for Prusa Mendel with some work, it requires 9 bearings and offers quick printing/assembly. Lightweight, it accommodates various hot ends, insulation, and fans. No captive nuts, easy extruder access, clip-on/off feature on x rails and belt. Two compatible holes are perpendicular to regular carriage for Wades extruder mounting sideways.
