Opentrons 15 mL Falcon Tube Rack Top
thingiverse
This is a rack for holding 15 mL falcon tubes on the Opentrons (OT-2). It should be used with the base stand from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3405002. Included with the .stl file is the Opentrons labware definition, and an Opentrons protocol for testing the labware. Note that the falcon tubes should NOT be filled up past 6 mL, otherwise the Opentrons pipette will become submerged. The attached photo shows the 15 mL rack in use (bottom right). In this example, the short version of the base stand from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3405002 was used. The rack was printed using a Prusa i3 Pro B via Repetier Host version 2. The design was sliced with CuraEngine with a quality of 2 mm and no supports. An infill density of 20 % was used. Print time was roughly 2 hours. PLA filament was used, with an extruder temperature of 210 C and a bed temp of 60 C. Additional bed adhesion shouldn't be necessary, but a thin layer of glue from a glue stick may help with overall quality.
