Opensource Mechanical Ventilator Improving

thingiverse

This project consists of a series of improvements made starting from the low cost opensource mechanical ventilator project designed by Progressth https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4292941 DAM Bros Robotics has created the external 3D structure and made improvements to the electronics and control of the system. Improvements done to the 3D structure to avoid direct access to the moving parts and to AMBU ballon: - a front panel with housing for a 3.5 inch monitor - a rear panel with a slot for a ventilation grille - an internal bulkhead to separate the wiring from the AMBU balloon - a top panel In order to be able to print the external walls even with small printers, in addition to the files of the complete panels, we have also added the files of the walls divided into parts, so that they can be easily printed with printers with an area of 20 cm x 20 cm x 21 cm Improvements done to the Electronics and control part: The management of the ventilator is based on a version of the original code to which the management of a 3.5-inch LCD display has been added for viewing the ventilation data set. We have also added a current sensor for diagnosing the ventilator status, which is missing in the original design. This sensor allows you to detect mechanical locking problems of the servo and electronic problems that can cause power failure. We are working to add a sensor system to monitor the air pressure generated. Soon we will add the code of project and the wiring diagram
