OpenScan - 3D Scanner v4 (early version)
thingiverse
Here are the files for my old 3D Scanner prototype, which I've finally made available due to popular demand! Even though I've moved on to a newer model, this one still has some great features worth checking out. I highly recommend taking a look at my current 3D Scanner, which can be downloaded here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050437 For more information and tutorials, head over to my website: http://www.openscan.eu/?lang=en (English) http://www.openscan.eu (German) If you're interested in modifying this design, the original files are in .skp format for SketchUp. To assemble everything, you'll need some M3 Screws and Nuts or wood-screws. The structure should be mounted on a ground plate with 4 screws, then you can hang it from the middle (or use a pole) while the camera orbits the object. For control, you can use my control panel + arduino + remote shutter control, which is explained in more detail on my website.
With this file you will be able to print OpenScan - 3D Scanner v4 (early version) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on OpenScan - 3D Scanner v4 (early version).
