2019-12-10 A simplified version for Raspberry Pi is available, making it easier to take photos and use the device. For more details see: https://www.openscan.eu/pi-shield?lang=en. The printable files can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4036102. 2019-03-28 A split version of the large Turntable Base has been added (designed by Paul). I'm thrilled that skilled individuals developed and published a CNC-version of the scanner, which can be seen and obtained in the following German-speaking forum: https://www.cnc-aus-holz.at/index.php?thread/1057-3d-scanner-openscan-eu/&postID=12398#post12398. Several interesting remixes with added compatibility to the ramps board have been created, so check them out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3482715. 2019-01-03 A larger version of the Turntable Base (35cm) has been added for those with a larger printer. Thanks to Jan G. for the modification. 2018-11-25 Information about the 3D Scanner can be found on my website at http://www.openscan.eu. 2018-10-11 The tested and functioning circuit boards plus program code for Arduino are now available. I've added pictures of the PCB/Breadboard wiring, and you can download the sketch from the following link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1HvSOB2VEg-s1xDzMar10pRFFcg8bUeEp. 2018-08-18 A new version of the Turntable Base with a cable slot for smaller Nema17 has been released. A fully revised and tested version of my first 3D Scanner is complete. This version is compatible with Smartphones and DSLR Cameras, using photogrammetry to create high-quality 3D Models of your object. https://youtu.be/Q_UeOjvAemw I'm working on various videos explaining the device's functionality. There are several videos describing the Scanner and its functionality on my YouTube Channel. Furthermore, I demonstrate the whole workflow from pictures to 3D Model using freeware only (Sorry, some videos are in German): http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG3IgwSIFFlc77Luf9VVlYw.
