OpenSCAD Voltron, Defender of the Thingiverse
thingiverse
Experience a fully assemblable and articulated OpenSCAD Voltron action figure, including lion heads and face parts. Standing 160mm tall with a 90mm shoulder width, this model uses Tony Buser's pin connectors v2 along with the designer's new hinge/joint system for rotational motion in hands, shoulders, neck, hips, waist, ankles, knees, elbows and wing positioning. Each appendage was tailored to match Voltron-lion personalities, while the favorite feature is the slightly parametric fake lion legs. Download and print each color plate separately for snap-together assembly, with some parts requiring light sanding for a tight fit. The model was created using v8.0 zip file parts and an updated red-plate from v8.1, found in the ZIP files. The title now reads "OpenSCAD Voltron: Defender of Thingiverse" as suggested by Cyclone.
