The previous library versions excelled at creating generic Bezier surfaces. However, they struggled with converting them into printable .stl files. This new version resolves that issue by modifying the Renderer.scad file's DisplayQuadShards() routine to generate a full shell instead of individual triangles. This results in a single solid for processing, making CGAL happier and enabling printability of previously problematic pieces. Users can now specify opacity when using shell_extrude_bezier() and choose whether to display the curve frame or the polyhedron. An optical illusion image demonstrates that internal walls aren't actual obstacles. However, compound objects still pose challenges, but individual parts can be processed separately for later assembly. Overall, this advancement brings progress in 3D printing with Bezier surfaces.
