OpenSCAD Stacked Plexiglass Enclosure
thingiverse
The OpenSCAD model creates a stack of Plexiglass layers, which you can assemble into a small box-like structure. For more details, visit http://ph-elec.com/archives/openscad-stacked-plexiglass-enclosure/. A YouTube video demonstration is available at http://youtu.be/Cy97yn67pjU. To construct the box, use a laser cutter to cut out all the pieces. Secure the top and bottom covers onto the core slices using acrylic glue, allowing you to open the case like a clamshell. Increase the size of cavities by adding more core slices. Notably, all aspects of the design are customizable through the OpenSCAD source code parameters.
