This OpenScad library features various modules that enable the generation of spirals. It allows you to create curvilinear forms without having to generate lists of points and triangles. Included modules are spiralSimple, spiralCone, spiralEllipse, spiralMulti, spiralMultiCone, and spiralMultiEllipse, among others. Further instructions for use can be found in the spiral.scad script's comments section. Note that while this method is not computationally efficient, you can work around rendering issues by creating separate scad files with each unit, then importing them into a master scad file using the "import" function. This allows for detailed object construction without errors or long run times. If using with plastic extrusion printers, be aware that the demonstrative STL file contains wide bridges and may not be recommended for printing.
