Student WorkSheets are a collection of worksheets designed for 10-14 year old students or CAD beginners to get started in OpenSCAD. This tool reinforces number line and 3-D spatial concepts, allowing imaginative and curious students to quickly expand their design capabilities. OpenSCAD works with three definable geometric shapes: cubes, cylinders, and spheres. These shapes can be transformed using a simple yet powerful scripting language. The tool incorporates functions to add and subtract these shapes, enabling students to build projects. Unlike drag-and-drop design tools, OpenSCAD provides students with Scripting/Programming experience, mathematics extensions, and the ability to export designs in .stl format for printing. This leads to great learning reinforcement and answers the age-old question of "When are we ever going to use this math?" in Mathematics classes. The worksheets feature an introductory project, followed by increasingly challenging projects such as the Table and Chair, Cricket Set, Coffee Cup, and Toy Cars. These sheets can be easily modified or overhauled to suit a teacher's program. Even adults may find their appreciation of mathematics rekindled as they use these work sheets.
