OpenSCAD OpenLock - Remix Series (Inch scale)

These are special 7mm tall variants of the OpenSCAD OpenLock Collection. They have no texture, and can be used for mixing your own designs. Why choose these over the original OpenLock tiles? I would argue that these tiles have several improvements. Only one support to remove per connector means less hassle overall. Each tile has a small bevel around the base, reducing cleanup needs for printers that aren't perfectly calibrated. If the first layer is squished too much, there's no need to sand or cut off the excess to get the tiles to fit nicely. You can also print with a brim and not worry about cleaning it off the finished print. The larger flat tiles have cutouts in the bottom to reduce the force needed to pull the part off the printbed. Why go with the original OpenLock tiles instead? They have a company supporting them, more variants available, and are simply the original design. Print Settings: Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: The default STLs print with an embedded support in the OpenLock port. Simply use pliers to remove it once printed. SPECIAL NOTE: If you're using built-in supports, please edit your slicer Layer Height settings so that the support is separated from the main piece. A first layer height of 0.25mm usually accomplishes this when printing at 0.2mm resolution. Inspiration This design is inspired by and compatible with the OpenLock system created by PrintableScenery. However, it's a complete remake in SCAD, with all work here being original. Naming Convention: For all files uploaded, they follow this naming convention: OSOL (OpenSCAD OpenLock), E (the OpenLock Part ID), Imperial (whether the part is 1" or 25mm based), 7 (height of the tile in mm), None (texture of the top surface), and None (array type).
