This version of the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6820 script simplifies character placement by adding an extra parameter to the function that specifies individual character positions in an array. Instead of... fnt_str(["H","e","l","l","o"],5,1,3); you can now use... fnt_str_p(["H","e","l","l","o"], [0,5,10,15,20], 5,1,3), where the second array determines character positions. Manually adjust values in this array to customize spacing; variables represent character widths. The code is a bit messy due to language limitations. example.scad was used for main image, and OpenSCADFont.scad needed slight Windows tweaks. Feel free to suggest improvements.
