OpenSCAD League Gothic Font Module
thingiverse
A custom font is required for upcoming projects. Using a dwf file would be specific but a more flexible approach via OpenSCAD's bitmap font module is preferable. This method uses the League Gothic font from the League of Moveable Type (http://www.theleagueofmoveabletype.com/fonts/7-league-gothic) and requires the "fnt-LeagueGothic" directory within the project folder. Although this font has variable width, manual adjustments have been made. The fnt_str function parameters work similarly to 8bit_str module, and other fonts can be adapted by exporting individual letters as dxf files. However, version 20110403 of OpenScad has problems with the blackslash; an updated code is provided in OpenSCADFont-Version20110403.zip to resolve this issue. To use the font, unzip OpenSCADFont.zip, include the necessary line in your source code and generate text using fnt_str statement.
