OpenSCAD Kate Snippets - Code completion and more
thingiverse
Update 2017/8: I added some more snippets that make code completion easier by suggesting them when you type and press Ctrl+Spacebar in Kate. This is an early version, but it's a great start! With scripts and other functions, there are many possibilities for improvement. There are also icons, settings files for Kate, and a screenshot that shows how to create a new filetype for .scad. If you want to enhance this version, just write me a note and I'll update the files with your changes. Thanks for checking it out and have fun creating things more easily! Instructions To install the files, put them in the directories mentioned in the Readme file. Refer to the settings screenshots for how to configure Kate's settings. You'll also need to create a filetype for .scad files - it's a simple process! Additionally, make sure to enable the "Snippets tool view" plugin in Kate's settings. Then click on the snippet-bar and select "Add Repository". Search for OpenSCAD, and you're all set! These instructions should work on KDE 5.
