The provided STL file is directly exported from its OpenSCAD counterpart, which was slightly modified to ensure proper printing on a specific 3D printer. Buback did most of the work; this version simply adapts it for OpenSCAD editing purposes. Although not entirely "parametric," the design allows users to edit features within OpenSCAD. In case you want a different edge distance or geometry, feel free to modify the .scad file before exporting and printing. Additionally, incomplete polygons have been added at the beginning of the holes to ensure they stick on the first layer, as suggested in blog.makerbot.com/2010/12/13/design-tip-incomplete-polygons/.
