On March 28, 2011, the z-stage was added. The DXF files were sourced from http://svn.makerbot.com/trunk/cupcake/lasercut-parts/z-body/ (Revision 1254) in March 2010. These files were imported into SolidWorks, where each piece was extruded 5mm and saved as STL format. OpenSCAD then utilized these STL files to reconstruct the components. This could be useful for those employing OpenSCAD as a modeling tool. However, there is an issue in the newer version of OpenSCAD that prevents it from exporting STL files. If you have a solution to this problem, please share it. Additionally, the older files from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:457 are included, albeit commented out. To view these files, simply open them in OpenSCAD.
