I designed this frame and windshield setup for the OpenRC project inside Autodesk Inventor, giving it sturdy supports to hold its shape. As for a mount, I've got plans in place to use a rubber band to secure it firmly, which will also help absorb shock if the car flips over. So far, I've had a few successful test runs with the model printed in PLA, but I'll need more time to see how durable it really is. One nice thing about this design is that the windshield can be easily removed and attached using some glue.
