There is a new OpenRC Tractor design on the block!Well, it is not actually RC controlled, it’s a replica of a replica! Video with the real OpenRC tractor HERESince I released my OpenRC Tractor, I always wanted to design a smaller version (not radio-controlled). And now it’s finally here! A toy tractor, easy to print and very cool!It was designed 4 years ago to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents. With this release (MK2), I added the trailer, rear optional tyres and redesigned some parts to make them stronger.The idea started because we wanted to give something to all attendees as a cool original gift to remember this special day. It made sense because the tractor is almost 50 years old too, like their marriage, and I thought it was a good way to remember that day.In addition, I printed (on paper) a personalized plate for the tractor. If your children or grandchildren love tractors, this design is quite easy to print and if you add the personalized license plate it’s going to be a win for sure!I really hope you like it!And remember please, if you print it, upload some pictures!Printing settings and materialsYou won’t need supports for any part, there are some built in supports in the chassis, where the steering goes, but they are quite easy to remove. Just bear in mind that tyres have to be printed with flexible or semi-flexible filament.To assemble, you’ll only need some screws and nylon washers, check out this BOM spreadsheet where you’ll find some instructions, list of materials and links to buy them.
