Important Update 2019 I've updated the OpenRC Tractor with major improvements, and you can find all the details here: http://makitpro.com/index.php/openrc-tractor/ List of Enhancements: -I completely reworked the transmission to allow for easy addition of a differential gear, resulting in much smoother rides. -I replaced the motor with a new one that offers significantly more torque, taking your OpenRC Tractor to the next level. -I designed new rear tires specifically for smooth surfaces, ensuring a silky-smooth ride. -I redesigned the original tires to minimize vibration on smooth surfaces, making them even better than before. -New Video Series: "Build with Me" on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLka2oTrf5U7Yu3vKVw2yO1LHeY2TjEC43 -New Updated Spreadsheet with Materials and Links Available Here: http://makitpro.com/index.php/openrc-tractor/ I aimed to modify as few parts as possible, but you'll still need to print some new components. A spreadsheet with all the necessary parts and updated links is shared here: http://makitpro.com/index.php/openrc-tractor/ OpenRC Tractor Project In honor of my father's first tractor, I proudly present the OpenRC Tractor, an open-source 1/10 scale replica of the original Ebro 160D tractor. It was designed from scratch and all parts were 3D printed before adding electronics, nuts, and bolts to make it functional. I've prepared basic instructions and a BOM so you can easily print and assemble your own OpenRC Tractor. The design is optimized for easy printing with no supports required for any part. Things to Keep in Mind: As an optional feature, I included different country plates - one for Spain and one for Sweden, as there are already OpenRC tractors in both countries. If you print your tractor and want a plate with your country's letters, just leave a comment and I'll do my best to add it. Recommended motors have poor torque; they work well on smooth surfaces but struggle off-road. To upgrade the tractor with a more powerful motor, check out the updates. I used the same bearings as OpenRC Formula 1 for ease of use, especially for those who already own the F1 model. The best part? You can design your own tools! With the OpenRC Tractor, endless possibilities await - new tools are coming, so stay tuned!
