IMPORTANT UPDATE 2019 I've just published an upgraded version of my OpenRC Tractor, featuring several exciting improvements: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-96114 There are a few significant changes in this 2019 edition: - I redesigned the transmission to allow for the addition of a differential gear, which significantly enhances the riding experience. - I replaced the original motor with a new one that boasts more torque, resulting in better performance. - I designed brand-new rear tires specifically engineered for smooth surfaces. - I introduced an innovative under-chassis channel to manage rear cables more efficiently. - I revamped the original tires to minimize vibration on smooth surfaces. - I created a series of assembly videos on YouTube, where you can join me and learn how to build your own OpenRC Tractor: Build with Me Videos - I've also updated the spreadsheet with materials and links: OpenRC Tractor BOM I've made every effort to modify as few parts as possible, but some new components will be required. Don't worry; I've provided a comprehensive spreadsheet with all necessary parts and links to purchase components at: OpenRC Tractor BOM Please review the BOM carefully, as there are some original parts that won't be needed. To facilitate assembly and connections, I've recorded a video tutorial available on my YouTube channel: Build with Me Videos OpenRC Tractor (updated text) As an homage to my father's first tractor, I proudly present my OpenRC Tractor project. This 1/10 scale replica is inspired by the original Ebro 160D tractor and designed from scratch using 3D printing technology. I've added electronics, nuts, and bolts to make it functional. To help you build your own tractor, I've created basic instructions and a Bill of Materials (BOM) available for download. Key points to keep in mind: As an optional feature, you'll find different plates with country-specific letters. If you'd like a plate with your country's letters, simply leave a comment, and I'll try to add it. I've used the same bearings as OpenRC Formula 1 to make it easier for those who already own the F1 model. The best part? You can design your own tools! With the OpenRC Tractor, possibilities are endless, and new tools keep emerging. Stay tuned for updates and get more details at (http://www.makitpro.com) Videos showcasing the tractor in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJo-eUfV0fI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dlf3Jw0A2M4 There's been a significant amount of work put into this project, and I hope you enjoy it.
