March 7, 2017 New SpurGear and Pignon added following sizes: SpurGear - 44T, 46T, 48T Pignon - 20T, 22T, 24T A curved rod for servo movement with two lengths is also included. December 28, 2016 My own Rim version designed to use commercial tires. Compatible with any 52mm inner diameter and 26mm wide tire. Two rims are available: F1Car_MyRimFront.stl for front tires and F1Car_MyRimRear.stl for rear tires. They function like Barspin's rim version, requiring only a #2 MR128ZZ bearing for the Front Rim. December 25, 2016 A remix of the OpenRC Formula 1 car by Barspin is presented. Rear Axle warping issues led to splitting it into three pieces for easier printing. Print and assemble just the #2 lateral_RearAxle and #1 Central_Axle using a #2 m3 screw (12mm length). New tyre holders designed for front and rear use 12hex commercial tires. Front tire assembly requires a #2 MR128ZZ bearing (same as Barspin's BOM) and a #1 F683ZZ or normal 683ZZ bearing. No modifications needed for rear tires; simply fit them into the RearAxle. A servo rod is included to assemble the servo saver with the servo itself. A simple bar with two holes rotated 90 degrees replaces the need for a 1mm steel rod. Pignon and SpurGear have been redesigned due to issues fitting properly after some time, possibly due to not aligning with the motor axle. A new set of gear 32DP is now available, allowing standard pigno use (available for purchase at a low cost). A handmade 3D printer based on Prusa I3 used for printing. Print settings: Rafts - No Supports - No Resolution - 0.2mm layer Infill - 60%-80%
