OpenRC F1 Tesla CyberTruck Rear Frame and Truckbed for OpenrRC F1 Rear Suspension
thingiverse
Added clearance in the frame for the pinion and suspension to move freely and added wheelwells for clearance in the truckbed. PSA! You really need the truckbed; without it, you might damage your car's wheels, motor, or chassis, even with TPU tires - the original bed printed in PLA melted when the TPU tires hit the chassis. PSA! Two things to consider: 1: Weight - if you have 100% infil frames on your truck, you probably need to reprint the frame and chassis in 7-15% infill to lose weight. The rear bumper weighs a lot in the back and the suspension doesn't like it. 2: Use four springs on the suspension even though the F1 just uses three - the suspension can fit four; simply clip the small metal thingy from the Keystone terminals. The F1 weighs less, even with high fill rates. There are two frame files in the pack - I strongly advise using the Ver2.0 and then trim the center bar with an exacto knife/file/sanding paper to get the movement of the suspension you want. It was optimal on my motor (the Racerstar 540 suggested by barspin), but depending on your setup, it might be too low. Remember: even a tiny change in motor movement causes a lot of movement at the axle end. If you're using a smaller motor, create the backframe yourself from the original - just remember to add space for the pinion's movement. The Sloppy version has a ton of movement; it's too much for my taste but is there for bigger motors or if you want to go all out on suspension movement and don't care if the wheels hit the bed. For the bottom backplate of the car, use this version - it also gives a tad more clearance for the wheels: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4417932 Since I got questions about where I got the keystones from since the original link is dead, I ordered them from Digikey: https://www.digikey.fi/product-detail/en/keystone-electronics/5220/36-5220-ND/2745879
