OpenRC F1 Rear wing Redux
thingiverse
This is a reworked rear wing for the OpenRC F1 car, created to mirror the design of current generation cars. I've also included the Solidworks file for those interested in examining its details. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .1mm or .15mm Infill: any (effectively 100%) Notes: The wing needs to be flipped for optimal results. Due to the filleting on the wing, rafts are required for proper printing. Successful support settings involve using Cura to support anything over a 40 degree angle (touching build plate). V2 Updated (4/16/16) - the trailing edge filleting has been removed for improved printing. V2 doesn't need rafts and should print faster with better accuracy. V1 still requires rafts for proper printing, but I'll keep the .STL file available for anyone who wants to use it.
