OpenRC F1 Front Ride Height Adjustment Kit
thingiverse
This set allows the front ride height of the OpenRC F1 car to be adjusted by raising the front arms, thus lowering the chassis. Print the shims in the quantities as desired and place them under the front arms, using longer screws as required. Two monocoque files are also included, one which allows for a shallow change in ride height and one which is much more agressive, if aesthetically less pleasing. Nose002 allows for much more significant ride height adjustments, and therefore this one is recommended. The nose has a slot for a Halo attachment and is a remix of the design by Crackfox, in turn remixed from the ZLAGGER design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2913170 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1723351 Print the monocoque "right way up" with supports on the build plate only. The spacers do not require any significant infill, expect perhaps the 0.5mm one so as not to be overly flexible. I'm hoping to make more race-spec parts in the future, so watch this space. With thanks to Daniel Norée for authoring such a great project to begin with.
