OpenRC 220 FPV Mini Quad Battery Compartment
thingiverse
I designed a replacement top for Daniel Noree's OpenRC 220 FPV Quadcopter. My initial flight with the original model had disastrous results - after a hard landing, the battery got busted because it was strapped on top open and exposed. I decided to create this new top to safeguard the battery, secure the FPV antenna, and hold the RC antennas in place. By using this replacement top, you'll no longer be able to mount a Go-Pro or other action camera, although you could potentially modify it to accommodate one. I built this model using TinkerCAD, starting with Daniel's bottom plate as a reference point. If you want to make modifications, the original TinkerCAD file can be accessed at: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/k7PcjH5opad. Simply copy the project and ungroup it to begin making changes.
