OpenRC 1:10 RC Differential (Redesigned, Higher Tolerance)
thingiverse
I've been wrestling with getting those square pegs to mesh seamlessly with the gears, all while working within 0.1mm tolerances - a challenge that's pushed my patience to the limit. The small points on the tiny gears are nearly too intricate for a 0.4mm, and the final layer would inevitably ooze out, so I made the decision to remove those fine details and increase the tolerances to 0.2mm. I've also taken the liberty of adding an extra 0.1mm to the height of both the spur and bevel gears, as well as the housing for the smaller gears - this tweak will allow them to be used together or swapped out with the originals if the original assembly proves too tight. EDIT: I've added even more variations to the heights, but I didn't bother with using Meshmixer to properly merge them this time. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to impact the slicing process.
