OpenRC 1:10 RC Differential

I was inspired by Thing-O-Fun's ingenious "Functional Differential Gear System" to create a similar mechanism for my RC car. So I took on the challenge and designed one from scratch. Scaling down the gears from the original concept proved to be a manageable task, but it required some careful planning to ensure that they would function efficiently in the compact space of an RC vehicle. I relied on my trusty cad software to bring the rest of the design to life. To my pleasant surprise, the gear system works remarkably well, particularly since my car is equipped with four-wheel drive and can therefore take full advantage of the differential gearing. In fact, having two of these gear systems in place has proven to be a game-changer for my RC car's performance, allowing it to navigate complex terrain with ease.
