Please respect the license under which this project is released. Thank you! This is the OpenR/C Formula 1 car, the third generation of its kind, and it focuses on simplicity. You can print everything in PLA except for tires, which are made from NinjaFlex. Feel free to use any material you like, but if you only have PLA available, this project is perfect for you!The servo saver has a unique design that works well with PLA, applying pressure similar to a spring found in traditional servo savers. However, the pressure depends on the type of material used and infill settings. Fine-tune it by adding washers under or over the servo saver.A note on the Main Turning Vane: trim its lower part using an exacto knife. Then slide it into the chassis plate and push it over the Lid; it should snap into place.Hardware and electronics kits are available here: http://www.3dprintnpack.com/product-page/4054b44d-0bfb-cfed-4661-451da35810daParts that need support added:Front Spoiler.stlFront.stlRear Rim.stlRear Wing.stlServo Saver Lower.stlTo get started, you'll need filament from your preferred supplier. You also require M3 screws and nuts, available at local hardware stores. Check the Bill of Materials (BOM) list for specific requirements.Bearings are necessary; check the BOM list or purchase a kit from FastEddyBearings.com:http://www.fasteddybearings.com/openrc-f1-sealed-bearing-kit/Lastly, you'll need electronics and here's what I recommend: an ESC and motor combo-http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__65982__TrackStar_ROAR_approved_1_10th_Stock_Class_Brushless_ESC_and_Motor_Combo_21_5T_.htmlBattery:http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__23134__Turnigy_nano_tech_Shorty_4200mah_2S2P_65_130C_Hardcase_Lipo_Pack_ROAR_APPROVED_.htmlMicro Servo I bought this, but it's not great; please let me know if you have a better recommendation.http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7472__Turnigy_8482_TGY_1800A_Servo_1_5kg_0_10sec_8g.htmlTransmitter and Receiver (I use something else, but this is an affordable option):http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__83360__HobbyKing_174_8482_HK_GT2B_3CH_2_4GHz_Transmitter_and_Receiver_w_Rechargable_Li_ion_Battery.htmlIf you're new to the R/C hobby, you'll also need a LiPo charger for the battery.
