To achieve optimal design, we experimented with various gear stages. Our primary goal is to decrease motor speed while increasing power output and minimizing the required size. To accomplish this, we tested different worm and involute drives. All gears were designed using Solidworks CAD software, and components were 3D printed with an Ultimaker.
