A long-standing challenge for dungeon tile enthusiasts has been aligning curved rooms, like castle turrets, with the rest of their tiles. This set aims to resolve that issue (at least for round rooms with a 2-square radius). It provides five different floor options that line up perfectly against G walls and can be combined to create floors at 90-degree angles (square by square) in almost any spot along a curved G wall. Additionally, it offers three walls (and their mirror versions) that can be added to have walls extending out at any 90-degree angle from the squares. A significant problem for features like doors has been that they protrude from curved rooms at 45-degree angles. The new Gx Wall addresses this by providing a 45-degree wall segment, allowing you to adjust other walls (and doors) to 90-degree angles. Furthermore, the new Gx door enables you to set them at an even 22.5 degrees. Historically, you could position a door/window/arrow slit/etc. at four positions with 45-degree offsets relative to floor squares. Now, you can set them at 16 different angles. A low-wall version of this set is also available online. To get started with OpenForge, refer to our tutorials on GitHub. OpenForge has transitioned to a patron-supported project.
