OpenLock 5.0 Half Wall, Tudor, Wood Styles An ongoing remix of the Devon Jones OpenForge 2.0 Wall Construction Kit's Tudor Wall Backs. This wall works seamlessly with OpenLock 5.0 Tudor Wood Column O Post Pillar at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2179339. These walls are half-height to facilitate easy access and a clear line of sight into the building. Just trimmed and added a wood grain top. Although these walls are technically "half-height," they are actually 2mm taller than the actual half-height of 25.4mm, yet still accomplish the original goal of vision and access. Original work took the OpenForge 5.0 Bool Tool and matched it with my base tile. Added a wood texture to the outside of the base in case this was intended as a second-floor wall. Shrunk the wall to 9mm thick and since the wall was thinner than the base, added a wood texture to the top of the base. This concept has been in development for some time - thinner Tudor walls with wood post end caps allowing proper fitting, similar to the mid-wall styles designed by Printable Scenery with their Rampage System. As Printable Scenery released the 5.0 precursor design files, it fit perfectly into what I wanted to accomplish in a more elegant way. I may still offer a thinner inner wall version like the one I originally envisioned. As of April 12th, 2017, this version has not been printed yet.
