Still a Concept in Its Infancy. I Welcome Your Ideas and Suggestions. Objective: Develop an Affordable, DIY 3D Lidar System that Eliminates the Need for Slip Rings and Enables Wireless Data Transfer between Rotating Axes. Additionally, Implement Wireless Power Coils to Minimize Cord Usage. Currently, We Are Utilizing ESP-NOW Protocol to Facilitate Data Exchange between Two Nodemcu Units. We Have Also Explored IR Data Transfer with IrDA2 Boards, However, Encountered Interference from the Wireless Power Coils. Our Goal Is to Establish Wi-Fi Connectivity for Seamless Access to Lidar Data. To Achieve This, We Intend to Incorporate a Battery Pack and a Magnet as an Add-on Feature. This Will Allow Users to Switch Between Battery-Powered Operation and Wired Connection with Cables for Quick Mapping. Two Distinct Concepts Are Currently Available for Download: Version 1: Motors: High-Performance 3530-400kv DJI Inspire Motors Sensor: Precision Lidar Lite V3 Sensor Encoder: Advanced AS5048A Encoder Nodemcu Unit for Processing and Communication Wireless Coils for Power Transmission Version 2 (Larger in Size, Designed for Developmental Testing): Motors: High-Torque Pm 2805 Gimbal Motor Sensor: Accurate Lidar Lite V3 Sensor Encoder: Precise AS5048A Encoder Nodemcu Unit for Processing and Communication
