This device is designed to remove dust from the filament prior to its entry into the extruder. It's fully detachable, allowing you to swap it out without having to disengage the filament from the extruder. To assemble this filter, you'll need to print two caps and two case halves. Position the cases side by side so they form a cylindrical shape, then place one cap at the bottom and one on top. Each cap features two grooves that can accommodate a rubber band for added stability. You're free to fill the filter with any material capable of effectively wiping away dust as the filament passes through.
