Summary ======== OpenForge dungeon wall tiles are designed to work seamlessly with Dwarven Forge's dungeon tiles. Compatible tiles in this series are marked with the OpenForge tag. You can find this set of tiles on GitHub. OpenForge Sets ============= Smooth Tile Series: These smooth tiles can be used as concrete, dirt, ice, and more. Smooth Edge Tile Series: Similar to the Smooth Tile Series but designed for edges. Stone Tile Series: A collection of stone tiles in various styles. Stone Edge Tile Series: Stone edge tiles that complement the Stone Tile Series. Crenelated Tile Series: Crenelated tiles for a medieval touch. Crenelated Edge Tile Series: Crenelated edge tiles to match the Crenelated Tile Series. Tudor Tile Series: Tudor-style tiles perfect for creating a historic look. Tudor Edge Tile Series: Tudor edge tiles that fit right in with the Tudor Tile Series. Ruined Series: Ruined stone walls add a sense of decay and neglect. Accessories: Pillars, arches, and other decorative elements to enhance your dungeon. Non-Series Tiles: Miscellaneous tiles like pools or fountains. Module Specific Tiles: These tiles are designed specifically for certain modules. Changelog ======== 1.0.1: Additional walls added for all combinations of 1x1 to 4x4 tiles. 9/01/2014: Mesh problems fixed on all 1x, 3x, and 4x tiles. Printing ===== This print has a large number of faces, which can make slicing a challenge. On my machine, it requires around 4 gigs of memory using slic3r. I've already decimated the faces to minimize this issue, but I'm aware that slicing can still be a bit of a pain. Painting ===== The painting process involved four layers: 1. Paint the entire piece black. 2. Use a dark grey to dry brush heavily over the piece. 3. Choose an additional color (perhaps stone) and paint some random stones on both sides. 4. Dry brush with a mixture of grey and olive, focusing on textured areas. 5. Finally, lightly dry brush with light grey, emphasizing edges for a more defined look.
